The frame is 1.5 in Depth with some room for padding behind the picture. You can leave it as is and hanging on the wall, I didn’t notice it. I carefully inspect all items. If any flaws are found, they will be noted here and in photos.

    This hand stitched. It is an estate sale find hanging in the sewing room of a lovely 96 year old lady. If I hung this in my sewing area, it would be perfect as it shows I am not finished with all my projects. I have work to come back to complete.
