VTG Crewel Embroidery COUNTRY ROADSIDE Paragon 1970s Large Framed Hand Stitched
Created in the 1970s from a Paragon Needlecraft Creative Stitchery kit, title is "Country Roadside"
The original kit insert said the design is "Stamped on superb homespun" of 75% rayon, 25% cotton.
In frame. Measures 25 inches height, 19 inches wide, and about 1 inch depth.
Nicely stitched.
Appears to be stretched and that assembly set into the blue-painted frame.
There are a number of small losses to the blue paint on the frame (2 representative images, though there are other areas with rubs and losses to the paint, ask for images if needed) and a bit of uneven color to the "homespun" ground fabric. I noticed at least two small areas where the embroidery isn't covering the stamped pattern in the green grass - there may be others, please view the photos of the grass and ask for more if needed.
Priced accordingly and all offers thoughtfully considered.
Quite large for shipping - I'll list with USPS and UPS options so buyer can choose best service for their address.
Shipping calculated by eBay based on package weight and size shipped from 19363 southeast PA to buyer's address.  At 25 inches x 19 inches, this will need a pretty large box and will likely accrue an "oversize" surcharge from the carrier for that reason.
