Vintage Crewel Embroidery Christmas Fantasy Stocking Sunset Stichery Chris Davenport Design Complete
Measures approximately:
17" Long from stocking opening to bottom seam,
Top opening is 7.75" across and slightly tapers to heel
Toe to heel is 11".
The Sunset Stitchery Kit 2025 "Christmas Fantasy Stocking" a Chris Davenport Design was first produced in 1979.  This completed version of the kit is beautifully executed with detailed, tight and intact stitching. The stocking is finished with a red felt backing, lined in muslin and has a braided loop with tassel for hanging. The name "JIm" is stitched on the top corner and what appears to be the year the stocking was completed ('83) stitched on the heel (this number is the only area of stitching that shows deterioration).
The stocking is clean, the colors vibrant and well- preserved.
