The Haiti 25 Gourdes Banknote was issued by the Bank of the Republic of Haiti in 2004 to commemorate the bicentennial of Haitian independence from France. It has hints of orange, red, and green. The obverse features the coat of arms of Haiti depicting a cannon, flags, an anchor, a bugle, a drum, and a palm tree. It also pofrtrays General Nicolas Geffrar, soldiers fighgting in field, and a flag. The reverse displays the Forteresse des Platons in Dussis (Les Cayes). The note contains a holographic stripe, a windowed security thread with demetallized BRH, and a watermark that reveals the coat of arms with an electrotype BRH. It is 158 x 64 mm in size and is signed by Venel Joseph, Reginald Momplaisir, and Hancy Pierre Louis. This commemorative banknote is in uncirculated condition.
